Britpop icons Oasis have confirmed they will bring their long-awaited reunion tour Down Under in 2025, marking their first Australian shows since 2005. Setting aside years of sibling friction, the Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, are reuniting the band after a 16-year hiatus. This expanded tour follows successful dates across Europe and North America, which sold out rapidly, showcasing Oasis’s enduring appeal.
Australian Tour Dates Announced
Oasis will perform at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on October 31, 2025, and Sydney’s Accor Stadium on November 7. These highly anticipated performances are part of a global tour presented by Live Nation. Ticket registration opens shortly, with presales starting on October 14 before the general public sale on October 15.
Fans can rejoice as the management has confirmed there will be no dynamic ticket pricing, aligning with recent North American shows. The band aims to ensure a smooth ticketing process, after criticism surrounding dynamic pricing and accessibility issues earlier in the UK.
Oasis’s Comeback Sparks Excitement
The tour announcement coincided with the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Definitely Maybe, and follows the reissuing of the album, which soared to number one in the UK. Oasis’s music has left an indelible mark, with hits like “Wonderwall” that skyrocketed on charts globally, contributing to their iconic status.
Emphasising the importance of fan experience, Liam and Noel are focused on delivering memorable live shows that rekindle the magic of their extensive catalogue. As they prepare to hit the stage together again, fans worldwide are eagerly anticipating this monumental comeback.
