Seven has confirmed the dates that the highly anticipated 2 part special will be airing!
So crack the ‘cardonnay’ and “get ready, because those two foxy ladies – and many other characters from the beloved comedy – are returning to the screens of Channel 7 and 7plus” said Seven.
“Kath & Kim: Our Effluent Life celebrates 20 years of being classy with a two-night TV event beginning on Sunday, November 20.”
Seven also said that fans will be treated to never before seen moments as well as “a hilarious roll call of bloopers and blunders.”
They added a list of stars that we can expect to see throughout the 2 nights which include, Kylie Minogue, Michael Bublé, Adam Gilchrist, Ricky Ponting, Eric Bana, Mick Molloy, Tony Martin, Richard E Grant, Barry Humphries, and “even a former prime minister.”
The first night of the 20 year celebration special will feature a touching tribute to Sharon’s all-time favourite cricketer Shane Warne, which we’re sure will be tear jerking and heartwarming at the same time, also “laugh-out-loud moments from events including the Logies and the AFL Grand Final.”
Night two will feature the hornbags, not housewives, joined by their hunks of spunks and other friends to look deeply into the previously unexplored nooks and crannies of the Kath and Kim universe.
Throughout the night viewers will be treated to more rarely seen bloopers and footage that has been unearthed from the archives made up of over 1000 tapes and 240 shoot days.
