In a turn of events at the Pinkpop music festival in the Netherlands, Robbie Williams, the iconic former Take That singer, was forced to stop his performance mid-concert. At 49, Williams is renowned for his high onstage energy, making the sudden stop even more alarming for fans.

The singer appeared breathless during his cover of Land of 1000 Dances third song in. He was just about to launch into the next song, 2002 hit Monsoon when he brought the concert to an unexpected standstill.

However, Williams collected himself and resumed the concert after a short break and delivered a remarkable performance of 16 more songs. The crowd was treated to some of his greatest hits, including Rock DJ, Kids, and Angels.

This isn’t the first time Williams has battled with the effects of Covid-19. The singer experienced his first bout of the virus in April 2020 while he was in Los Angeles. During that period, he chose to isolate in an Airbnb away from his family home to protect his wife and children. Williams candidly shared his experience, describing feelings of lethargy, tiredness, and heaviness during the three-week isolation.

Let’s give Robbie a whole lot of love and positive vibes as he rests and recuperates. We’re rooting for you, Robbie! Get well soon and keep the music alive.
