A man is facing attempted murder charges in Innisfail.
The 32-year-old is accused of stabbing a 23-year-old woman following an altercation on Saturday night.

Around 11pm, the man attended the Innisfail Police Station with a wound to his hand.
Police transported the man to Innisfail Hospital for treatment, before declaring a crime scene at a local property.
A short time later, the 23-year-old woman was located at a different property in a nearby street with multiple wounds to her upper body.
She was taken to Innisfail Hospital before being flown to Townsville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The man has been charged with attempted murder (domestic violence offence) and will face the Innisfail Magistrates Court today.
